Engineering plastics – PE 1000 and polyurethane
Sheets of high-molecular-weight polyethylene (PE 1000, PE 500 to order) and polyurethane have low friction and high wear resistance, and material does not stick to them. We use them for lining chutes, silos and hoppers, for slide strips and guides, and for cleaner blades. We keep PE 1000 in stock, so we can install it straight away, also during repairs on site. Materials
PE 1000 (UHMW-PE); PE 500 to order – low friction, material does not stick, wear-resistant; lining of chutes, silos and hoppers, slide strips, guides
Polyurethane (PU) – highly wear-resistant, elastic, in several hardnesses; cleaner blades, linings, seals
Cutting and installation
We cut sheets to size according to drawing and install them – in our workshop or on site, together with other work on the conveyor.
How to request a quote
Send us the material (if you know it), thickness, dimensions or a drawing, and the intended use.
FAQ
PE 1000 or rubber for lining?
PE 1000 is better where material sticks and needs to slide (wet, sticky materials in chutes and silos); rubber is better under heavy impact.
Do you have PE 1000 in stock?
Yes, we keep PE 1000 in stock; everything else we source to order.
Need PE 1000 or polyurethane?
Send us the thickness, dimensions or a drawing and the intended use – we will get back to you with a quote.
