Elevator belts for bucket elevators
An elevator belt carries buckets that lift bulk material vertically – into silos, bins and mills. The belt must carry the tensile load and hold the bucket bolts securely at the same time, which is why it has a special fabric carcass with very low elongation (less than 1 %) and thin covers. The belts are manufactured to DIN 22102.
Applications
grain and bulk material silos and storage
ports
cement plants
power generation and heating plants
foundries and steel mills
chemical and metallurgical industry
Construction
low-elongation EP carcass, for light to very heavy-duty elevators
thin covers on both sides
versions with general-purpose, oil resistant or heat-resistant covers
antistatic version, also suitable for ATEX zones (group II, category 3)
Punching, buckets and elevator installation
We punch the belt to drawing for the bucket bolts.
We mount the buckets on the belt.
If required, we also install the complete elevator in the plant structure.
Sizes and availability
We keep the most common sizes in stock and source other constructions at short notice.
Splicing
For elevator belts we make all types of splices – vulcanising and mechanical elevator splices – depending on the elevator and belt design. Conveyor belt vulcanising and splicing →
How to request a quote
Send the belt designation and width, pulley centre distance or length, drawing or bucket spacing, and type of material. Enquiry form →
FAQ
Why an elevator belt and not a standard belt?
A standard belt stretches too much and does not hold the bucket bolts well.
Can you punch the belt to my drawing?
Yes, send us the drawing or the old belt as a sample.
Can you mount the buckets and the elevator?
Yes – we mount buckets on the belt and, if required, install the complete elevator in the structure.
Do you have heat-resistant elevator belts?
Yes, on request.
Need an elevator belt?
Send us the belt designation, centre distance and bucket drawing – we will get back to you with a quote.
